Wanted: Little Artists!
Little artists take note – it’s time to get out the paint, crayons, markers, color pencils and paper, etc. The
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY in Alamo
are looking for creative children to produce their version of
“What Christmas means to me!”
and enter it in our 11th Annual Christmas Artwork Contest. Artwork should follow the “What Christmas means to me!” theme and be on an 8½ x 11 inch sheet of paper with the
Child’s name, phone number and AGE on the back.
5 & Under
6 to 8 years
9 to 11 years
12 to 14 years
15 to 17 years
ENTRY DEADLINE: THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11TH , 6:00 P.M.
Winners will be announced on, Friday, December 12th.
Any type of ORIGINAL artwork created by hand (no computer) will be accepted.
All artwork should be done on a WHITE 8 ½ X 11 inch sheet of paper.
Contestants NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND AGE should be printed on the back of the artwork.
All entries should be taken to the Library before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014.
The artwork should follow the theme, “What Christmas means to me!”.
Artwork will be judged on originality, creativity, artistic ability for age, adherence to the theme and rules.
All artwork becomes the property of the Friends of the Library in Alamo.
There will be one winner in each age category.
The artwork will be displayed in the Library during December and may be used in a Christmas Card fundraiser for the Library.
